Protect your data with ownCloud and benefit now from special pricing through the GÉANT Framework Agreement valid until End of the Year 2015

Research Facilities and Universities rely on ownCloud as they require an on-premise File Sync and -Share solution with the ability to protect sensitive data or research and to manage data at scale.

The GÉANT Association, representative of the European National Research and Education Networks, and ownCloud, Inc., have agreed on a favoured-pricing scheme for GÉANT members and their attached constituents. The agreement offers a jointly pre-negotiated, very favourable, flat per user pricing not only for National Research and Education Networks but also attached entities such as Universities, Research Facilities or University Hospitals. Further information about the general agreement

On top of this existing agreement, we are announcing the availability of a special discount offer, valid until December 23, 2015. Link to the GÉANT press release:

“The new special offer is applicable for new customers only (renewals by existing customers are excluded) and is valid until the end of 2015 (23rd December, 2015). New customers can obtain licenses for 1 euro per user per year, under two possible conditions:

1) You sign up for one year, with a minimum number of licenses worth 7 500 € or:

2) You sign up for two years for a total of 11.000 Euro with 3.500 users in year one and 7.500 users in year two. This approach allows a subscription that matches the gradual scale-up of users for new customers over two years and makes entry easier.”

If your organization would like to make use of the new special discount, please contact GÉANT’s Peter Szegedi or Christian Schmitz.
