Compare Ctera vs ownCloud

Read a full Ctera comparison below, and learn how ownCloud enables users to share files and folders within your organization securely. Ctera is an edge-to-cloud file management solution from the US and Israel with a clear focus on security. It specializes in organizing multi-site file storage setups. Ctera is, unlike ownCloud, closed source which makes the workings of its code intransparent. Like ownCloud, it supports multisite setups. Ctera, like ownCloud, gives customers a choice of on-premises, cloud or hybrid deployment and simplifies IT modernization drives. Unfortunately, its exact inner workings are a black box so customers have to trust the vendor instead of being able to audit the source code.
