In it I go back into technology\u2019s past comparing the questions that were asked then to the questions being asked today to prove that the future of technology, especially in terms of the cloud world, remains in open source.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA lot of work has to be done \u2013 and will be done \u2014 to decouple the individual building blocks of cloud computing before consumers and users can choose what is best for them. Competition and a free market of components and applications are needed to unlock the full potential of cloud computing. Once again, users are clamoring for interoperability, openness, flexibility.
