And I mean really great! In 2015, 5 years after the initial inception of ownCloud, we had a grand total of 550 contributors, which is awesome. However, in just over a year since that number was recognized, we are proud to announce that we our community has reached over 1000 contributors. That is an 80% growth in just one year!<\/p>\n<p>It is because of our community that ownCloud Inc. is the company it is today. So we do not take this announcement lightly. This is a great achievement for our entire environment and we could not be prouder.
