Think about the information that you are handing over to schools when you register your children. Social Security Number, date and place of birth, current address, etc. Have you ever thought where the school stores this information? In this day and age, it is a safe bet that it is stored on a computer, and it may even be safe to say that some of the schools are storing this information in some sort of cloud infrastructure. But who has access to this information? And with the number of data breaches and ransomware on the rise, knowing where your information is stored becomes even more important.
