Open a web browser and log into your new account. Then in the top right corner of your browser window, click on your username and then on \u201eSettings\u201c. In the General tab, add your name and a profile picture and maybe set a stronger password.<br \/>\n<br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_41452\" style=\"width: 430px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-41452\" class=\"wp-image-41452 size-fp-small\" src=\"https:\/\/owncloud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Bildschirmfoto-2020-03-26-um-13.04.17-640x209.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"420\" height=\"137\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-41452\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Make it more comfortable<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Then go on to the Sharing tab, where you can choose to \u201cAutomatically accept new incoming local user shares\u201d for more comfort and maybe also \u201cAllow finding you via autocomplete in share dialog\u201d to make it more straightforward for colleagues to share files and folders with you.<br \/>\n<br style=\"clear: both;\" \/><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_41458\" style=\"width: 430px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-41458\" class=\"wp-image-41458 size-fp-small\" src=\"https:\/\/owncloud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Bildschirmfoto-2020-03-26-um-13.28.49-640x285.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"420\" height=\"187\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-41458\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Make it secure<\/p><\/div>\n<p>In the Security tab, we strongly suggest you use second-factor authentication.
