To provide users with digital workspaces that are both efficient and secure, integrations are key. This is why in our upcoming modernized ownCloud Infinite Scale, we put APIs front and center. It’s already available in a fifth Tech Preview release<\/a>!<\/p>\n

While we continue to improve and extend ownCloud Infinite Scale, we also work with our partners to make functionality of the current ownCloud more straightforwardly available. For example, the productivity-focused email software\u00a0eM Client now integrates ownCloud as a File Provider<\/a>. This enables users to send emails with links to ownCloud shares instead of attachments, which are pretty cumbersome and insecure in comparison.<\/p>\n

Across a lot of use cases, ownCloud makes for a nifty and efficient file provider to supplement distributed software solutions. One example is the open\u00a0password manager Buttercup that can be set up using ownCloud<\/a>\u00a0to make your passwords seamlessly and safely available across your devices and even your whole team.<\/p>\n

There is one synchronized file provision need that has in the course of the pandemic become ever more pressing: How to share files within popular workstream collaboration suites \u2013 safely and in compliance with data secrecy rules? We have squared the circle and resolved the apparent contradictions. Stay tuned for our announcement that will make secure file collaboration much more comfortable. The recent\u00a0ownCloud 10.7 release<\/a>\u00a0brings groundwork for this upcoming functionality. Additionally,\u00a0ownCloud Server 10.7<\/a>\u00a0makes the user interface more straightforward and encryption more efficient!<\/p>\n
