Taking place in Nuremberg, it-sa is also kind of like our home game. The halls were pretty busy, in view of the fact that the pandemic is still ongoing. The interest in secure IT solutions seems to have increased noticeably as work patterns have shifted in the past two years.<\/p>\n

We had a lot of intriguing face-to-face talks with potential and existing clients. We did notice a particularly strong interest in our multiple integrations with the Microsoft ecosystem, namely Teams and Office, and also their respective Open Source alternatives. Our partners at it-sa 2021<\/h2>\n

Of course, there were a number of fascinating conversations with our partners that were present at it-sa 2021. Cloud Identity and Access Management provider cidaas<\/strong> presented its all-new ID Validator service<\/a>. It is a Digital identity verification service that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to recognize a face, scan and check the matching ID card and reliably verify the identity. The service is certified, GDPR-compliant and works without any human besides the user, significantly reducing the cost of each id verification.<\/p>\n

Our technology partner Kaspersky<\/strong> was at it-sa, too, presenting its products that help speed up the detection and the response to attacks on company networks. As part of a comprehensive setup, ownCloud Enterprise customers can easily leverage the Kaspersky Scan Engine<\/a> to protect their file collaboration platform and keep malicious objects out of their systems.<\/p>\n

As a co-presenter at the ownCloud booth, our partner CollaboraOffice<\/strong> was right there with us. Cor Nouws presented the secure content collaboration capabilities that make Collabora Online such a great productivity extension of the ownCloud platform.<\/p>\n

We also enjoyed chats with the team at our partner Bechtle<\/strong>, focusing on the secure collaboration needs of small and medium-sized businesses. At the booth of Splunk<\/strong>, visitors learned how to improve security by analyzing and visualizing a host of metrics from their systems, including ownCloud Enterprise. Our partner Boxcryptor<\/strong> explained its approach to securing data in multiple clouds using end-to-end encryption.<\/p>\n

After three successful days full of rewarding exchanges at it-sa 2021, we look forward to seeing you at it-sa 2022!<\/p>\n
