Long-time Boston-based sales executive joins as vice president<\/em><\/p>\n

Lexington, MA \u2013 September 17, 2013<\/strong> \u2013 ownCloud, Inc.<\/a>, the company behind the world’s most popular open source secure enterprise file sync and share software<\/a>, announced today that Steve Green has joined the company as vice president, World Wide Sales.<\/p>\n

With more than 1,000,000 users worldwide, ownCloud offers the ease-of-use, flexibility, sophistication and security unmatched by basic consumer-grade file sharing and syncing apps and third-party storage \u2013giving corporate IT control back over sensitive corporate data. ownCloud Enterprise Edition becomes part of the existing infrastructure — deployed fully on-premise, integrating into existing user directories, governance processes, security, monitoring, storage and back-up tools (a must for highly regulated industries). ownCloud Enterprise Edition enables businesses to easily extend ownCloud via an enhanced application plug-in architecture, integrating the ownCloud server with existing collaboration, data loss prevention, or regulatory compliance software.<\/p>\n

Green brings more than 20 years of experience helping build and grow early-stage companies, most recently with senior roles at Brightcove and DataPower where he drove significant increases in sales.<\/p>\n
