It\u2019s hardware run by large companies, snoopable by spy agencies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With the personal cloud you download software and store all of your data on your own server and you have more control. According to Thompson, BitTorrent CEO Eric Klinker says, \u2018\u201c\u2026if anybody wants to know what you\u2019re doing, they can\u2019t go and ask one of the big servers.
