Next Tuesday, February 9th, I will be presenting ownCloud at the venerable New York Linux User Group. I am excited for the opportunity to speak to this group as I’ve heard great things about this LUG and its audience!
I’ll be speaking about ownCloud as a project and the problem it solves– centralization of services and the issues this causes. I will also talk about current and upcoming features of ownCloud, with a focus on the upcoming 9.0 release and Federation.
My presentation begins 6:30 pm and there’ll be plenty of time following the talk for questions and conversation. The presentation will also be recorded, so if you can’t make it you’ll be able to watch it later on the LUG’s YouTube channel.
Find more information and RSVP at the LUG meetup page.
See you there!
