Last July, I introduced you to a service called ownCloud whose premise is to enable a comprehensive, Dropbox-like file and object store to be rapidly deployed by enterprises on-premise. In order to produce a service that resembles what public storage cloud services call “collaboration,” ownCloud urges its users to share their own storage folders with each other. This way, ownCloud can provide links to those shared folders, giving the space for those links the appearance of a shared storage space.
ownCloud Conference 2017 was a blast! A week full of best practices, hacking, talks, solutions, awesome conversations and ownCloud!
