Unlike other enterprise file sync and share (essentially a basic app and third-party storage), ownCloud leverages a company’s private storage — ensuring no corporate data propagates beyond company boundaries — and seamlessly integrates with existing security and governance systems and existing corporate IT investments. ownCloud gives companies complete control over their sensitive data while providing the seamless, easy-to-use access end users have come to expect from consumer-grade services.
