As everyone knows, I love ownCloud. I have loved it from its conception and am in awe of what it has grown into. It makes me feel great to be able to go home each day and say “I have helped to solve a problem for someone today.” But how did ownCloud get to this point? How are we able to solve these problems today?
I have recorded this short video to show just how the company has become what it is today. How Holger Dyroff came to me in May 2011 with this idea by Frank Karlitschek, to how we overcame the obstacles and stayed motivated, and how our vision for ownCloud has stayed the same over the years.
