Today Fujitsu, a multinational leading information and communication technology (ICT) company, has announced that it will be integrating with ownCloud. “Fujitsu Services for ownCloud Enterprise” is a private cloud platform designed for companies and public authorities to offer employees flexible access to centrally stored data whether it’s from their computer, smartphone, or tablet. This new platform offers an alternative to public cloud vendors that do not meet the European data privacy compliance and regulations. However, ownCloud integrates with enterprise regulations with Federated Cloud Sharing, making this the perfect partnership.
The new Desktop Client not only brings new design highlights, but also support for OpenID Connect, TUS.io and comprehensive debugging features – among a lot of bugfixes, improvements and logistical changes.
