ownCloud Inc. have announced a partnership with HackerOne to help with the newly created Security Bug Bounty Program in an effort to find vulnerabilities and fix them before they become an issue for users.
ownCloud assures its users that it has a comprehensive security strategy in place to help thwart vulnerabilities. By partnering with HackerOne, ownCloud point out that the software will be able to be verified by independent security audits and penetration tests to ensure that it meets the needs of enterprise in terms of the level of security offered.
