While we continue to improve and extend ownCloud Infinite Scale, we also work with our partners to make functionality of the current ownCloud more straightforwardly available. For example, the productivity-focused email software eM Client now integrates ownCloud as a File Provider. This enables users to send emails with links to ownCloud shares instead of attachments, which are pretty cumbersome and insecure in comparison.
Across a lot of use cases, ownCloud makes for a nifty and efficient file provider to supplement distributed software solutions. One example is the open password manager Buttercup that can be set up using ownCloud to make your passwords seamlessly and safely available across your devices and even your whole team.
