Partner Vizuri takes ownCloud for a “Test Drive” with Red Hat

Great initiative from Vizuri!
ownCloud secure cloud solution for filesharing

In case you missed this and in the Wall Street Journal ownCloud strategic partner Vizuri has combined Red Hat’s software-defined storage offering with our on-premises, secure file sync and share with a test drive so users are able to see how they can manage and scale their solution as it replicates within and across their datacenters.

This is a great initiative from Vizuri — who is leveraging ownCloud and Red Hat technologies to provide secure enterprise file sync and share which can be spun up quickly using the Amazon Test Drive Program.

Through the AWS Test Drive program, users can quickly and easily explore and deploy ready-made solutions built on Red Hat technologies. Test Drives labs are provided free of charge and include complimentary AWS server time, helping organizations ease into the cloud and get hands on experience running production ready workloads on AWS.

This is a fast, easy way to get up and running on ownCloud running in a Red Hat Storage environment, a great way to check out these capabilities.

Joe Dickman from Vizuri told me they want to use ownCloud to deliver services, integrating with Red Hat Openshift, Red Hat Storage, Cloud and RHEL — all in the public sector. All on-premises, all certified, all secure.

Good stuff Vizuri.
