Today we announced a new partnership with XTIVIA, Inc., an award-winning information technology solution, consulting, and development company that does whatever it takes to help customers improve their technology and business. XTIVIA provides “database, application development, and integration expertise around Business Intelligence, Data Management & Analytics, CRM, Web Portals, Remote Database Support, and more.”

This partnership will allow us to break into the US market and give our present and future North American customers support and services. In exchange it will also allow XTIVIA to provide secure, private, and custom data solutions to their own customers.

ownCloud Sprint Review: Tiles view in Infinite Scale, Scoped Storage and more

Over the last two weeks, developers at ownCloud worked towards substantially improving the platform, and also fixed existing bugs. Among these, the most significant improvement is the support for a tiles view in ownCloud Infinite Scale. Furthermore, the new clients for Android and Apple devices now come equipped with interesting features. What’s more, Infinite Scale will now receive user notifications in the web UI and an automatic server detection. An event log and history service with notifications are in the development stage.
