After three release candidates and a month of testing, ownCloud Server 11.0.0 is stable. It’s the first release built for PHP 8.3, moves app signing to a stronger G2 scheme, and folds in 11 security fixes and 19 bugfixes along the way. Thanks to everyone who tested the candidates and filed issues.
ownCloud Android 4.8.2 + 4.8.3: cookie header redaction in HTTP logs, an „infinite edges“ UI fix, a stray debug manifest cleaned up, and a broken Help URL corrected. Drop-in updates for anyone on 4.8.x.
Two codebases just became one. The ownCloud Web frontend now lives inside owncloud/ocis under web/, all under Apache-2.0. One repository, one licence, one CI pipeline, one contribution surface. Years of contribution history preserved, everything moved into a single home. This is what the OSPO relicensing programme looks like when it reaches the core product.
