ownCloud is on a roll this month! We started the month announcing that we ranked second in Linux Journal’s Readers’ Award for Best Cloud-Based File Storage  as well as making top five for  Best New Linux/Open-Source Product/Project. Well this week we have received news that we have been named as one of the Top 10 Open Source Projects in 2014 on OpenSource.com!

One of our users Jiri Folta, who uses ownCloud to integrate Dropbox, Google Drive, and more in Gnome, was quoted saying, “I was looking for an easy way how to have all my online storage services, such as Google Drive and Dropbox, integrated with my Linux desktop without using some nasty hack, and I finally have a solution that works. I’m here to share it with you. This is not rocket science really, all I did was a little bit of documentation reading, and a couple of clicks.”

Thank you Jiri for choosing to use us! It is users like you who drive ownCloud to being a success. Let the awards keep coming!
