IMGP3864Yesterday ownCloud hosted our yearly conference bringing together 73 ownCloud business users from both the community and enterprise, as well as those who are interested in becoming a user.

The event took place in a cinema in Frankfurt Germany. IBM and B1 Systems were event sponsors. The cloud and compliance expert, Arnd Böken, provided insight into cloud compliance and how organizations can use cloud solutions in compliance with data protection regulations. A whole gamut of users demonstrated the full range of possibilities of ownCloud in a variety of interesting community and enterprise projects, including Stuttgarter Lebensversicherung a.G., Helmholtz-Zentrum für Umweltforschung, DESY, Agfa ICS and Senacor. In return, ownCloud unveiled its roadmap for up-and-coming versions, for which it received a wealth of positive feedback. Also insights of Collabora in future collaboration capabilities for documents, spreadsheets and presentations received a big applause.
