This was one of our most popular feature requests, this will be used by our Mobile and Desktop Clients to enable Sharing without the need to go to the web interface.
In fact, the complete feature set of the web interface is supported. How easy is that? Now, share files directly from your mobile devices and desktop clients.
This can be very useful too if you want to script or control sharing from the command line or a 3rd party software that has ownCloud integration.
Over the past several weeks I’ve gone into detail of some of the hottest new features of the upcoming ownCloud 6 Community Edition.
