The ownCloud community is so many things. We have contributors to the core of our file synch and share engine for instance. We have people who build apps that extend ownCloud for both personal and enterprise file sync and share. Then there are those who work tirelessly finding and fixing bugs. Then there are the more than 1 million users of the Community Edition. Now, of course many of the people in these groups wear more than one hat, and many also tirelessly promote ownCloud to others.
But one group we don’t talk about as much, and one which truly spans the globe, are the folks who translate ownCloud — now in more than 40 languages. All of these translations are done by our awesome community on the Transifex platform. Lately, I saw that we are now the most active project with more than 12.500 translated words. This is really awesome.
