As Senior Partner Manager, Zielke is responsible for supporting all of ownCloud’s European partners. He brings extensive experience and expertise to this position. Zielke has been working in the IT industry since 2009 and has held various management positions in software sales and partner management. Prior to joining ownCloud, he worked for Univention.

Zielke’s declared goal is to massively strengthen the development of long-term strategic partnerships with system houses, service providers and technology partners. To this end, he will establish an intensive and regular exchange with ownCloud’s partners in order to identify and systematically address joint market opportunities.

Specifically, Zielke plans to simplify the ownCloud pricing model for partners and modernize the partner program. Partner companies will receive extensive training to educate and certify sales and technical staff on the ownCloud software. The company also plans to expand partner events, including an annual ownCloud conference.

“We don’t just want to enter into short-term partnerships focused on individual projects,” explains Zielke. “Rather, we focus on sustainable relationships based on transparency, loyalty and professionalism that ensure long-term success for both parties.”

“Together with us, partners can offer their customers state-of-the art collaboration solutions – with full data sovereignty and without the legal uncertainty and lock-in of the public cloud,” said Tobias Gerlinger, CEO and Managing Director of ownCloud. “With Daniel Zielke, we have hired a partner manager who can optimally support them in this endeavor.”
