Today we say good bye to ownCloud founder, Frank Karlitschek, as he leaves ownCloud to pursue new opportunities. I hold a deep amount of gratitude towards Frank for coming up with the initial idea and for everything he has done over the last 6 years to turn ownCloud into the ecosystem it is today. I and the ownCloud team wish him the best in his future endeavors.

While we will most certainly feel the loss of a dear friend and a prominent voice in the company, we will continue on just the same; our commitment to our community, our ecosystem and our customers remains unchanged. You all placed your trust in ownCloud and we will continue to deliver a product and an ecosystem that will make you proud.

So, best of luck Frank, and you will be missed.
