Manually creating folders and subfolders when starting a new project or onboarding a team is now a thing of the past! The process of using Space templates in order to create new Spaces streamlines your workflow, saving valuable time and ensuring consistency.
Creating a new project space is now effortless. Simply right-click on a chosen folder, select “Create Space from selection,” and the entire folder structure, including subfolders and files, will be instantly generated as a project Space. Space templates guarantee a uniform folder structure across projects, offering a standardized, efficient, and customizable way to organize your documents and files. For example, Spaces would come in handy in organizing course content for a class, collecting information about scientific tests and results etc.
Additionally, the introduction of separate trash bins for Spaces brings individual trash bins for each space within your organization’s file system. Spaces represent dedicated areas for team collaboration on specific projects, departments, or initiatives. With this feature, your files are safe from accidental deletion, as files deleted within a Space are moved to a separate trash bin specific to that Space and can be restored if necessary.
